LEAVENWORTH (7) finished second last time out over 6f at this track (Dirt), making it three career minor placings. Has been in the frame at all two runs over this trip. Worth including. DOC BALLARD (5) finished out of the money two starts back then he was always well out of his ground and was beaten 26 lengths when fifth in a 1m contest at this track three weeks ago. This doesn't look as hard so he can find the winners' list. SINALOA (3) returns from a lay-off of nine weeks and is having his first run for a new yard. Finished seventh at Belmont Park (Turf) over 6f when when resuming last time in work. Solid top-three hope. FAST STRIDE (9) stepped out for his debut over 5½f at Saratoga (Turf) back on August 12 and finished ninth, beaten 14 lengths. Worth following up.
