KEFALONIA (5) was safely held when fourth last time out over 1m1f at Yeppoon, beaten 4.5 lengths after being prominent at the bend. That followed a win at Emerald at the previous outing. Likely improver with strong prospects. BRAZEN BRECCIA (10) bounced straight to the front from the rails draw last start and led for home before finishing second over 6½f at this track. Will go forward and is expected to be in the finish again. BAYERISCHE (3) finds it hard to win with four victories from 45 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when 11th over 6f at Thangool, beaten 12 lengths. Taking on a better line-up this time but he cannot be underestimated. DIVINE HUNTER (12) hit the frame two starts ago at this track but ran below par last time when eighth and beaten 4.5 lengths over 7½f at Cairns. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time.
