SMALL TOWN HEROINE (3) looks close to a win after finishing in the money at both runs, the latest when third at Evangeline Downs (Turf) over 5f. Should be poised just off the lead. Expected to be in the finish. FOXY'S BAY BULLET (9) missed the frame on debut then progressed nicely at her second outing when in the firing line on the bend, finishing 3.5 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 5f at this track. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. GIVE EM HAIL GAYLE (2) went forward over 5f at this track (Dirt) last time but found one better. Hasn't been far away this time in work with two minor placings from three starts. Expected to be competitive. INSIPID (6) has been in the betting at both starts but hasn't managed to break through. Most recently finished fourth over 5f at this track (Dirt), beaten 6 lengths. Sure to be about the money.
