MARKS HIP (4) finished fourth two runs back at this track (Dirt) then improved last time out to score by one length as favourite after being in the firing line on the bend over 4½f at this track (Dirt). Finds a suitable race and can go on to make it two in a row. RALLY CAT (2) hasn't won recently but looks close to a breakthrough based on his last start second at this track (Dirt) over 4f124yards when beaten 2.5 lengths. This looks a nice race for him to return to the winners' stall. DANCE KID (5) finished sixth last time out over 5½f at Del Mar, beaten 5.5 lengths. One of the genuine contenders. ECHO ALPHA SIX (1) turned in a strong run over this course and distance last time, settling well back then unleashing in the straight to get up for third. Will be doing his best work late.
