Will prove tough to beat. FUNKY GREY (3) missed the placings two runs back then was never in contention last start when 7 lengths away in sixth over 4f124yards at this track. Adrian Escobedo gets the best out of this six-year-old mare. Likely improver with strong prospects. STORM D'ORO (6) ran below expectations last time at this track (Dirt) over 2½f, finishing fifth and beaten 13 lengths. Should park just off the speed. Will give backers a great sight. MEAN SHARON (7) showed good early speed then led into the straight last start before fighting on to finish second, beaten 0.3 lengths, over 6f at Fresno (Dirt). Has ability and a bold showing is expected.
