VAMPI AT PLAY (5) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at this track, beaten 5 lengths. Won't find this as tough so she will prove hard to beat. CAVALLO RED (3) returns after a lay-off of five months. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 7f at Belmont Park. Has found the right race. DENNIS CHOUX (6) drifted back from his wide draw last start then hit the line hard to score by a long neck at Pinjarra Scarpside over 5f. Among the main hopes. SUPPORTIVE (7) was unplaced two runs back when fresh from a lay-off then again missed the frame last start over 7f at Belmont Park, beaten 4 lengths into seventh. Worth noting Brad Parnham goes aboard. Likely improver with strong top-three prospects.
