GLIDE ON BY (9) returned from a lay-off a week-and-a-half ago when she was beaten 6 lengths into eighth over 5f at Nanango. Taking on a better field but she is fitter and capable of running a bold race. RECANATI (4) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6f at Doomben, beaten 2.5 lengths into eighth after being in the firing line on the turn. Ideally placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. SPIRIT OF BEANS (3) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 7f at Gold Coast, beaten 2.5 lengths. Enjoys a drop in grade so he can make amends. SCAPINI (11) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 0.8 lengths from the winner in second over 1m at Toowoomba. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well.
