MR MACHUPICCHU (6) has put together back-to-back placings, the latest when 2.5 lengths away in second over 5f at this track (Dirt) when he was handy all the way. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake. SHANAPLAN (2) ran well on debut last start to finish third over 5f at Del Mar (Turf) in a tougher race. Has plenty of upside so he will be hard to beat. WHISKYGINANDBRANDY (4) is a three-start maiden who finished fifth at his most recent appearance over 6f at Del Mar (Dirt). Cannot be ruled out in this suitable assignment. GOZER (5) has been in the betting at both starts but hasn't managed to live up to market expectations. Most recently finished seventh over 6f at Del Mar (Dirt), beaten 11 lengths. Can feature in the finish.
