SEVAK (3) did little and finished 11 lengths from the winner in sixth over 6f at Del Mar last start, a less impressive effort than his fifth on debut at Del Mar the run before. Tackling a more suitable race this time so he is one of the main contenders. GIANT LUTHER (4) is yet to break through in three runs. Finished ninth at his last appearance over 1m at Del Mar (Turf) on August 30 after he was well back on straightening. This looks a nice race so expect him to be right in the finish. DEEP CREEK STORM (6) sat on the pace on debut last start and showed some fight to hang on for second over 4½f at White Pine Racing (Dirt). Has plenty of upside so he should be in the finish. ESCAPE PLAN (1) produced another moderate effort last start when 21 lengths from the winner in tenth over 1m at Del Mar. Capable of featuring prominently.
