HESA GAMER (6) finished fourth two runs back then did well last start but found a couple better over 1f180yards at Retama Park, beaten only 0.6 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. BP ITS TEMPTING (5) progressed nicely last start to finish a close third over 1f31yards at Retama Park after missing the placings at the previous appearance. The engagement of Bryan Candanosa is noteworthy. Has the talent to take care of this field. SLANEY SIDER (1) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when eighth, beaten 1.5 lengths, over 1f130yards at Retama Park (Dirt) after he settled well back. Will strip fitter and is capable of sharp improvement. VF BONAFIDE (3) is a four-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Heath Taylor barn. Finished off last campaign with a fourth at Los Alamitos Qh (Dirt) 11 weeks ago. Hasn't trialled publicly but has filled a minor placing two times from four runs when resuming. Shapes as a top-three chance.
