A KOOL LOOKIN LAD (6) did little and finished 2.5 lengths from the winner in fifth over 1f130yards at Retama Park last start, a less impressive effort than his fourth at Retama Park the run before. Must raise the bar but he has the ability to test this field. MUSIC MAESTRO (5) is a five-start maiden who is knocking on the door, the latest effort a solid third at The Albuquerque Downs Racetrack & Casino (Dirt) over 1f130yards after being in the firing line on the corner. Meets a stronger field but he is good enough to take this out. HES JESS APOLLITICAL (8) was in the money two starts back at Ruidoso Downs then missed the frame but was not too far away last time over 2f at The Albuquerque Downs Racetrack & Casino (Dirt). Has the pace to be thereabouts early. Finds a nice race and can measure up. IVORYS ONLY KNOCKOUT (12) returns after 11 weeks in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a ninth over 1f31yards at Retama Park (Dirt). Rates highly on best form and should be in the mix.
