CINCO RICHIE (9) resumes from a lay-off of nine months after closing off last campaign with three consecutive minor placings. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. Best form puts him right in this. FORT HOOD (13) made progress last time out, finishing 4 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 6½f at Sam Houston Park after being in the firing line on the corner. Nicely placed to take this out. IMPERIAL RED BIRD (1) hasn't made an impression lately despite market confidence. Last start could only manage seventh over 6½f at Sam Houston Park (Dirt). Worth another chance. OZZIES WINGS Y G (3) tackled a turf track for the first time last start and although out of the placings wasn't far from the winner when fourth over 1m at Sam Houston Park. Better for the run on this surface last time. Each-way chance.
