MASTER ALEX (1) is heading the right way and should notice the drop back in class here. Zephen Johnston-Porter takes two kilos off his top weight and he should be the one to beat in this. NORTHERN IVY (7) was tried in front at Kalgoorlie three weeks ago and was only claimed late, before finishing fifth. He drops back sharply in trip here but can't be totally overlooked. Each-way value in an average line-up. UNCOMPROMISED (3) failed to find any form in three starts last prep and is making his debut for a local trainer first time out here. He has been placed in much stronger fields in the past and is capable of taking this out if his mind is on the job. SATURDAY SINNER (5) was much better when third at Kalgoorlie last time out. He has a good gate and with Alan Kennedy in the irons, he merits healthy respect. Include in all combinations.
