COSMIC CRY (2) returned from a lay-off two-and-a-half weeks ago when he was beaten 2.75 lengths into sixth over 5f at Gundagai. Fitter so anticipating a better run this time. SEEKING TO WIN (3) missed the placings when resuming recently but was not too far from the winner when fourth over 5f at Canberra. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. Best figures should see her run well. SHADOW BLACK (1) was out of the money on debut two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5f at Wagga, beaten 4.5 lengths into fourth after being prominent at the turn. Tackling a more suitable race this time so she will be hard to beat. TOGOODTOBEACOD (9) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at Wagga, beaten 16 lengths. Fitter this time will prove harder to beat.
