FLYCATCHER (1) resumes after a break of a year. Won on debut to launch the last campaign over 5½f at Bendigo. Fitter for a sixth in a recent trial over 4f at Wodonga. Can return in winning form. NEWS AT FIVE (3) returns from a break of five-and-a-half months. Consistent performer last prep whose most recent appearance resulted in a sixth over 6f at Wagga Riverside. Finds the right race to launch another bright campaign. SPIRIT LAKE (6) showed good early speed then led into the straight last start before fighting on to finish third, beaten 1.1 lengths, over 5f at Wagga. Solid run last start and is among the chances again. BRENLYN'S DAISY (2) last raced when successful by a head over 5f at Albury four-and-a-half months ago. Makes plenty of appeal.
