IRON SHIELD (10) was well fancied but below her best at the last run before a break on October 6 finishing sixth over 1m1/4f at this track (Synthetic). Starts this prep with Jose Ortiz taking charge. Can take this out while fresh. ALEXANDRA'S SONG (5) finished fifth over 5½f at this track when resuming last start, beaten only 0.9 lengths. Finds a suitable assignment and can get the job done. CROWN JAK (13) missed the placings two runs back then was never in contention last start when 14 lengths away in ninth over 5½f at this track. Finds a nice race and can get the job done. POPPA CHIPPY (1) was in contention on the turn and finished third last time over 5½f at this track (Synthetic), beaten 1.5 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run again.
