CURL N ROD (2) was out of the money on debut two runs back then again missed the frame last start when she settled well back over 5½f at this track, beaten 7 lengths into seventh. Has the ability to produce a better result. ON A PROUD NOTE (5) stepped out on her debut over 6f at this track (Dirt) three weeks ago and finished eighth, beaten 13 lengths. Capable of sharp improvement. LAURA'S THUNDER (6) turned in a moderate debut over 4f at Timonium (Dirt) on September 1 when she was safely held in fourth, 8 lengths from the winner.
