ADMIRAL'S WAVE (1) has been thereabouts lately without being able to break through, the latest effort a third at this track (Turf) over 1m1f. Overdue and looks a top chance. WASHINGTON'S UNION (5) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he settled well back over 1m at this track, beaten 22 lengths into sixth. Faces an easier assignment so he is set to turn things around. MAX BARLEY (16) settled well back and failed to come on last start when seventh over 1m1/2f in stakes class at Penn National (Turf) at his first run back from a break. Drops back in grade. Well placed and should be in the finish. HOLEY MOLEY (6) turned in a fine effort to win by 1.5 lengths at this track and distance when when resuming from a break last time out. Looks well placed so expect another big run.
