MILE HIGH MIRACLE (3) worked through the line well to finish 2 lengths away in third last start over 4f at Timonium (Dirt). Sure to appreciate the extra journey and looms as a significant player. MINE THE GOLD (6) is on debut for the Brittany Russell stable. Three-year-old colt by Upstart from Oh So Nice. Should acquit himself well. Keep an eye out for any positive market movement. LAKE SUPERIOR (5) returns from a lay-off of four months. Was safely held at the only appearance last prep when eighth over 1m at Churchill Downs (Dirt). Can make his presence felt while fresh. BEAVER STATE (1) was always well out of his ground when 12 lengths from the winner in seventh over 1m1/2f at Ellis Park last start, a less impressive effort than his sixth on debut at Ellis Park the run before. Meets some better types this time but this looks well within his grasp.
