CELTIC CONTENDER (8) wasn't far away in his two starts prior to sub-par fifth last time out over 5½f at Colonial Downs (Turf). Well placed and can bounce back. LITTLE LANCE (4) was a determined winner two runs back then raced on the speed last time before finishing second over 1m at Timonium (Dirt). Terrific chance to return to the winners' list. JARDANI (1) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a fourth over 1m at Timonium (Dirt). Hard to beat in this suitable race. THE BAND RUNS ON (2) started at 11/4 last time but could only manage fifth, beaten 2.5 lengths, at this track over 1m1/2f. Should settle handy in the run. Must be respected.
