WASHINGTON'S UNION (8) started at 6/1 last time and ran below expectations, finishing ninth and beaten 7 lengths at Ellis Park (Turf) over 1m. Nicely placed to make amends. AWESOME STRIKE (11) was narrowly beaten last time when second over 1m at this track (Dirt). Stepping up in distance now which looks a good move at this stage. Genuine contender. BILL OF RIGHTS (6) filled yet another minor placing last time when 2 lengths adrift in second over 6f at this track (Dirt) after being in contention all the way. Has the pace to take a forward position. Well placed this line-up and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. CASSIUS (1) will find this a little easier than his last run just 10 days ago when fifth over 1m at Colonial Downs (Turf). Worth another chance.
