MATHEW (6) was ridden quietly then made a little ground and finished 2.5 lengths away in fourth last time out over 1m at Moe two-and-a-half weeks ago. Tackles a longer journey this time. Sure to prove very tough to beat. NEW YORK HURRICANE (8) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 3.5 lengths when sixth in a 7f43yards contest at Caulfield three weeks ago after being in contention on the bend. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. KEATS (1) led throughout last start to score an effortless 5 lengths win over 1m2 1/4f at Moe. Must be included. STATION ONE (7) produced a reasonable effort when second last start over 1m2 1/2f at Horsham. That followed a win at Murtoa the start prior. One of the main hopes.
