CHAPARRO (5) could only manage sixth on debut then improved last start but found a couple better over 7f at Pakenham, beaten 1.75 lengths. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake. ARC DE PUISSANCE (1) ran a better race last start to finish a close third over 7f at Warrnambool. Finds a tougher race but he has the ability to test this field. SUPREMACY (8) raced once in the maiden campaign when fifth at Echuca over 6½f back on June 13. Not to be discounted with the blinkers applied. ROYAL INFANTRY (3) was out of the money two runs back when fresh from a lay-off then again missed the frame last start over 1m3/4f at Sale, beaten 7 lengths into ninth. Better than recent efforts suggest.
