MINTMAN (11) started this prep with a win two runs ago. Couldn't follow that up last time out when third over 6½f at Bendigo, beaten 1.75 lengths. Nicely placed to return to winning form. RAETIHI (3) has been kept fresh for this since a disappointing 12th over 7f at Sale 28 days ago. Well placed to make amends. JAMMIN JIMMY (12) was a narrow winner in a at Seymour then out of the money last time when sixth at Swan Hill. Down in the weights on last run. Will find this a little tougher but can measure up. CODIGO (2) finished second last start over 6f at Kyneton when he made late ground, beaten 3.5 lengths. Should be peaking. Must be respected.
