STAR CANTO (8) did a good job last start to finish third at Sale over 7f, beaten 1.4 lengths. Should be at her peak now. Ready to win. BELLARCHI (2) stepped out on his debut over 6f at Warrnambool three-and-a-half weeks ago and finished fifth, beaten 2.25 lengths. Will take a lot from that last run and is worth following up. BEDTIME ANGEL (9) is a five-start maiden who is well and truly overdue, finishing second at Mornington over 6f last time out after being prominent at the bend. Likely improver with strong prospects.
