GIDDY GAN'S JOY (6) ran well despite being friendless in betting when resuming last time over 1m1/4f at Ipswich, finishing second and beaten 1.3 lengths at 20/1. Backmarker who gets home hard. Best form puts her right in this. GOLD PRINCE (2) was allowed to drift back from an outside draw last time but found the line strongly to finish sixth, beaten 3.5 lengths, over 1m1/2f at Ipswich. Was outdashed but got going late and appears suited by the longer journey. Well placed and expected to go well. ALERT AND READY (11) was safely held when fourth last time out over 1m at Gympie, beaten 7 lengths. That followed a win at Goondiwindi at the previous outing. Must raise the bar but a better run will not surprise. SKYLON (4) went forward over 1m1/4f at Roma last time but found a couple better. Should settle in a handy position. Can sneak into the finish again.
