CRESCENT (3) surprised many last time when a close third over 6¼f at Durbanville. Sure to go well again. SCOTTISH LINKS (10) could not emulate his top-three finish on debut when resuming last start, beaten 4.5 lengths into fifth over 5f at Durbanville. Fitter for that hitout and should do much better. GOLDEN DESTINY (2) progressed nicely last time out at the second run of the campaign and finished 4.5 lengths from the winner in third over 6¼f at Durbanville. Meets a stronger field but he is worth serious consideration. AMANDLA NGAWETHU (8) finished midfield on debut last time out, safely held 6 lengths from the winner over 6¼f at Durbanville. Capable of a much better performance.
