EMPIRE STATE (2) is a promising colt yet to miss the frame after two starts, including a win. Is at the races for the first time since he scored over 6¼f at Durbanville on August 31. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. Expecting a bold showing. ARISTOTLE (7) was an impressive maiden winner last time out, scoring by 2.5 lengths over 6¼f at Durbanville. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Looks well placed and he is right in the mix again. BIG UNIT (9) is going well, scoring by a nose two runs back at Durbanville before finishing fourth last time over 1m at Durbanville. Likely to push forward and race on the pace. Should be involved in the finish. DAS GUTE (12) is racing well and has registered four minor placings in a row, last time out finishing second over 7f at Durbanville. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways.
