STAR OF YAMBA (11) settled well back from a wide draw last time then wound up strongly to finish fifth over 7f at Grafton. Will drift back but is sure to prove tough to beat. GIVE IT A NUDGE (5) has progressed nicely in her last couple of runs. Finished third at this track two starts back then got the job done by 0.9 lengths last time out over 6f185yards at Bowraville. Goes up a rung or two but she is capable of running another bold race. COWGIRL LILLY (6) turned in a modest performance when tenth last time out over 1m at Grafton, beaten 4.5 lengths. That followed a win at Casino at the previous outing. Has the class to take care of this field. STAND IN LINE (1) showed good early dash last start and held on well to finish 8 lengths back in third over 1m2f at Canberra. Has the ability to take this out.
