OUR COSMIC BELLE (9) produced a solid effort last time when sixth over 5½f at Hawkesbury after she got a long way back in the run. Won't be bothered by this longer journey. Will pay to follow up. RIVER PAT (4) missed the placings two runs back then did well last start but found one better over 6¼f at Taree, beaten only 1.5 lengths. Taking on a better field but she is good enough to take this out. CANADIAN EXPRESS (7) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 7f at Gundagai, beaten 4 lengths into fourth. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. ZOE (2) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a fifth over 7f at this track after racing in the leading division. Good enough on her day and can play a prominent role.
