POINT AND SHOOT (1) resumes from a lay-off of five months. Could only manage to finish ninth at the latest run over 6½f at Rosehill. Impressive winner of a recent trial at Rosehill. Looks the one to beat. KING'S SECRET (2) produced a nice effort on debut in better company last start over 5f at Hawkesbury when second, beaten 0.6 lengths. Has a low draw so he is worth following up. HOWLER (12) returns after four-and-a-half months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a eighth over 6½f at Newcastle. Tuned up with a sixth in a recent trial at Randwick. Strong winning chance on best figures. SHANGRI LA SPRING (4) first time out after just one run in first campaign where he finished among the placegetters at Goulburn. Will strip fitter for recent trials and should be in the mix fresh.
