MARACAIBO SUN (1) is struggling to break through but has been around the mark lately, last start finishing third over 7f at Newcastle. Yet to break through at this trip but has registered two minor placings. Among the chances again. STAGE LEGEND (8) was in the firing line on the corner and ran a better race last start to finish a close second over 6¼f at Newcastle after missing the placings at the previous appearance.
