CREEK (3) has accrued three minor placings from four runs this campaign. Settled a long way back before closing well to finish 1.2 lengths from the winner in second last time out over 6½f at Wyong. Must be included on the strength of that form. TAIPAN LEGEND (9) finished 1.2 lengths from the winner in fourth last start after being in contention on the corner over 7f at Newcastle, an improvement on his sixth at Gosford the run before. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is good enough to take this out. CAN EXPECT GREATER (11) is yet to break through in five runs. Finished fourth at her last appearance over 7½f at this track on April 20. Among the chances in what looks a nice race for her. NEW FOREST (6) is a six-start maiden who missed the placings when resuming but has since consolidated with two straight placings, the latest over 7½f at this track. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. Can feature in the finish.
