THE MAXINATOR (1) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race when returned with a gritty third over 6¼f at this track on November 17. Wide gate is no help but has won. HARDLEY GREY (4) is racing in a rich vein of form after winning two of his last three starts. Taken back from the wide gate when motored late to run second over 6¼f here on November 17. Trained on the track and the extra distance suits. TECTONIC PLATE (17) lightly raced mare with ability who is chasing her third straight victory. Extra trip suits and will take holding out again. PEAK ROAD (5) was below best last time when drifted back and never threatened, finishing seventh over 1m3f at Grafton. Rates highly on best form so he can turn things around.
