MAKES THE CUT (2) last appeared three weeks ago over 6f43yards at Albany when he finished fourth. This is his first run for the A W Hughes stable. Looks set to run well for the new barn. HILLSIDE HORACE (1) wound up strongly but just failed to pick up the winner last start over 1m at this track. Placed to advantage so expect another big run. BALI BELLY (8) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1m at this track, beaten 2 lengths after being prominent at the turn. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. SPECIAL PLAN (12) was on speed for much of the way over this course and distance last time but weakened late to finish seventh, beaten 4.5 lengths. Not to be underestimated.
