ANDERSEN (5) finished second, beaten 3 lengths, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5½f at Doomben after he was prominent at the turn. Ideally placed and is sure to take plenty of stopping. LONJOURNO (2) finished second, beaten a nose, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at Sunshine Coast. Suitably placed to crack the maiden win. MATERIALIST (7) gave a great sight last time over 6f at Warwick when she raced up on the pace and fought on gamely only to be narrowly beaten. Sure to prove hard to run down again. ALLY (14) resumes from a lay-off of five months. Looked close to a win before that break, finishing off with a minor placing over 5½f at Gatton. Ran fourth in a recent trial at Doomben. Has ability so don't underestimate.
