SIAN STAR (4) was prominent from the outset when second over 6¾f at this track last time out. Strike rate this course and distance is impressive. Leading hope. DWINDLING SPIRIT (17) raced on the speed from the outset when resuming last start and finished second, beaten a head, over 6½f at Beaudesert. Ready to go one better. FLYING BIRDS (8) produced a reasonable effort when second last start over 6¾f at this track. That followed a win at Ballina the start prior. Expect a better run this time.
