CAESAR CAKE (7) came home strongly last start to finish second, beaten one length, over 1m2f at Gatton. Will be tough to stop again. LADY DEANNE (9) finished sixth two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1m3f at this track, beaten 2 lengths after being in contention on the turn. Finds a suitable race and can figure in the finish. SUBAQUA (5) is a four-start maiden who is knocking on the door after a narrow defeat last start over 1m2f at Toowoomba. Meets some better types this time but a win is not out of the question. KENSHIN MARU (4) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m at Gatton, beaten 1.4 lengths into sixth. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
