VOLCANIC GOLD (6) was unlucky not to resume a winner at Moree when beaten under a length. Sure to have improved with that run under his belt but will need some luck from the car park draw. QUIET APPROACH (1) continues to knock on the door but struggles to land the winning blow. Has enough alley to overcome the wide gate. Expect him to be in this for a long way. UNDER LE TEMPS (2) returns. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last prep over 6f at Tamworth. Has switched to the Nikki Pollock stable. One to consider. FATAL SHOT (3) makes his stable debut for Gavin Groth off a quick freshen-up. Showed improvement last start at Hamilton when finishing fourth and should find this easier. Low draw assists.
