ALIA ASAHI (6) finished second at Geelong two runs back but was less effective last time over 1m4f at Mornington, finishing 10 lengths back in eighth. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. MR GEORGE (4) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start when he made late ground but found a couple better over 1m2f at Mildura, beaten 5 lengths. Meets some better types this time but he has the talent to test this line-up. BLAZING GURU (8) missed the placings when resuming at Warrnambool two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1m1/2f at Warrnambool, beaten 2.25 lengths after being prominent at the corner. Must raise the bar but she has the talent to test this line-up. OUR Set Weights AN SONG (11) improved last time out, finishing 1.3 lengths from the winner in second at the end of 1m2 1/2f at Echuca. Well placed to run top-three again.
