MONTEZULU (5) did little and finished 2.75 lengths from the winner in sixth over 1m1 1/2f at Devonport Synthetic last start, a less impressive effort than his fifth at this track the run before. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. ES AND ES (2) has registered four minor placings from five runs this campaign. Continued the trend at the most recent appearance when runner-up over 1m1 1/2f at Devonport Synthetic. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. TAHITIAN WARRIOR (7) was too good for a maiden field last start over 1m at this track, scoring by a head. One of the likely contenders despite the step up in grade. LET'S MESSAROUND (4) finished second at this track two runs back but didn't measure up last time over 1m1 1/2f at Devonport Synthetic, finishing 8 lengths back in 12th. Well placed and should be about the mark.
