ANYWAYS ROXIE (4) was right in contention when they turned for home and kept finding to finish third last start over 5½f at this track, beaten one length when fresh from a lay-off. Has her share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. RUBBLE 'N' FUDD (2) will strip fitter for this after running below expectations when resuming at Devonport Synthetic, finishing sixth and beaten 3 lengths over 5¾f after being in the firing line on the turn. Nicely placed to make amends. LA VIRAGO (6) returned from a lay-off four weeks ago when she was in the firing line on the bend before being beaten 2.25 lengths into sixth over 5½f at this track. Fitter and sure to run well.
