DANVILLE (4) finished out of the money when fresh from a lay-off two starts back then he was always well out of his ground and was beaten 12 lengths when sixth over 1m1/2f at Tampa Bay Downs seven weeks ago. Has a solid record at this course and distance, including four wins. Won't find this as tough so he is a major player. DOUBLE THUNDER (2) Group 1 placegetter. Is having his first run since winning by 4 lengths eight weeks ago over 1m at Delta Downs. Has transferred to the Jon G Arnett stable over the break. Leading hope who should be tough to stop. Solid top-three chance for the new barn. KHOZAN'S SUCCESS (8) returned from a lay-off two weeks ago when he was beaten 11 lengths into fifth over 1m1/4f at this track. Fitter and sure to run well. GITA'S LAD (1) did a great job to score by 4 lengths over this course and distance when when resuming from a break last time out. Looks well placed so expect another big run.
