JOYNER (6) sat just off the speed and fought on well to finish second when resuming last start at this course and distance. Won at her only try when second up. Expected to be hard to stop. ELLIPSIS (10) didn't do a bad job after being prominent at the corner to finish 1.75 lengths away in fourth last start over 5½f at Warwick Farm. That followed a win on debut at Bathurst.
