NOISES (6) was too good for a maiden field last start over 7½f at this track, scoring by a long neck. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Progressing well so worth following up. BLAZING Set Weights ORD (7) was beaten just a neck last start and landed his first top-three finish in the process at Goulburn over 1m. Looks close to a win and gets his chance in this suitable contest. CASABLANCA EXPRESS (8) made progress last start to finish third over 7½f at this track after being in the firing line on the bend. Nicely placed to take this out. CASANOVA (1) was in contention on the turn and finished second last time over 1m at Newcastle, beaten a head. In the right race and is a winning hope.
