ALERT AND READY (7) finished second two runs back at Nanango then improved last time out to score by 5 lengths as public elect over 1m1f at Goondiwindi. Meets a stronger field but she is capable of running another bold race. GLEEFILLY (2) was out of the money when resuming two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 7½f at Rockhampton, beaten 4.5 lengths into fourth. This is a nice drop in grade so she is a major player. MASTER DRUMER (4) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 4 lengths when fourth in a 6f196yards contest at Bundaberg three weeks ago after being in the firing line on the turn. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is up to the task. SUMMER STAR (5) showed good early dash and raced on the speed at the first run back from a break last start before fading to finish 4 lengths back in sixth over 7½f at Kilcoy. Can feature in the finish.
