UP THE COUNTRY (4) was in contention all the way and fought on for second last start over 6f at Tamworth, making it two minor placings in a row. Likely improver with strong prospects. SANZENO (2) rallied in the concluding stages to score by 2. Lay-off. Big chance to keep the fine form going. NOMORENIGHTSHIFT (8) drifted back then closed strongly to score as favourite on debut over 5½f at Dubbo three weeks ago. Will come on following that run definite threat. MOON ZONE (9) is yet to find the winners' list this time in work but has two placings from three appearances this campaign, finishing 1.75 lengths away in third most recently over 6½f at Dubbo. Another top-three finish is on the cards.
