TRIUMPHANT TONIC (6) returned last time with a solid second at Wangaratta over 6½f when he made late ground. Likely improver with bright prospects. CROWN ESTATE (12) has failed to figure of late. Two runs ago missed the placings over 6½f at Hawkesbury. Most recently he failed to complete the course at Hawkesbury. No surprise to see him back in form. I SEE STARS (8) drifted well back last start before winding up strongly to finish second, beaten 1.2 lengths, over 1m at Albury. Strong chance again. MEATLOAF (3) finished out of the money on debut two starts back then was beaten 6 lengths when seventh over 7f at Ballarat Synthetic two-and-a-half weeks ago. Nicely placed to break the maiden status.
