AMERICAN OF COURSE (1) is back at the races for the first time since July 5. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last time in work over 6f at this track. Capable of playing a major role. THE DOVE RULES (5) has been knocking on the door with a couple of recent placings, the latest when second at this track (Synthetic), and gets some weight relief. Rates strongly and looks one of the leading hopes. DAVID'S ROSE (8) last appeared seven weeks ago over 5f at this track when she finished fourth. This is her first run for the Jorge Delgado stable. Sure to make her presence felt. BODACIOUS BREN (4) fought on for third last start over 5½f at Monmouth Park (Turf), beaten 4 lengths to add to some fine recent form. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways.
