KLANG BOY (4) bounced straight to the front from the rails draw last start and led for home before finishing second over 7f152yards at Gold Coast Poly. Sure to go well. GRANDCOEUR (8) travelled in a rearwards position then picked up fairly well in the straight and finished 3 lengths away in fourth last time out over 6½f at Toowoomba three weeks ago. Tackles a longer journey this time. Drawn to stalk the leaders. Expected to be in the finish. ANOTHER DIME (12) returned from a break last start with a mediocre ninth over 7f at Sunshine Coast after settling well back. Has her share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. VENTUROUS (7) could only manage to finish fifth, beaten 2 lengths, at his latest appearance over 6¾f at this track. Among the better chances in what looks a nice race.
